Gladiator

Gladiator 1.8 at wind force 2 Bft. and even then it is easy going. With increasing wind speed, this power kite becomes a real speed junkie. Speed and power increase enormously in strong winds!
Like its bigger brother, the Gladiator 2.4, the little brother (Gladiator 1.8) also flies with a very precise turning circle and flies in a perpendicular line through the power zone of the wind window. From wind force 5 Bft. onwards, the Gladiator 1.8 requires a dose of kite flying experience to be able to control this power kite. The Gladiator goes very fast and develops a lot of power, concentration and responsiveness are now required.

The Gladiator 1.8 is highly recommended for beginners who like high speeds and power, but even for advanced kite pilots it is a challenge at high wind speeds.

The Gladiator 2.4 builds its speed and power evenly. This includes pressure build-up in the power zone and on the edges of the wind window. The Gladiator 2.4 has a wide wind range. If you make a looping, it turns quickly, catches enough wind and yes the sail likes to make razor-sharp turns in the air. But other manoeuvres are also possible in every conceivable variation. It listens carefully to its pilot's steering commands. Fast direction changes make this powerkite challenging and spectacular. It has a small turning radius. Power and speed remain normal in proportion to the powerkite's size. However, this depends on the wind force. You are the pilot, you decide, (though it would want to pull a heavy locomotive into the air). Even in extreme wind conditions, the pilot is still in control of the kite. The balance convinces. This is a real all-rounder, power and speed kite.

Risks: The sport of kite flying falls under extreme sports. Especially kite flying with the larger power kites is not without risk. Always take wind force into account when you are kite flying. Do not take unnecessary risks.
