The Gfk solid rods are very flexible even in thin diameters and are ideally suited for example small single line kites, fight kites, stand offs and wing tension. Due to the additional winding, these rods do not run the risk of being torn lengthwise when under tension. This also allows very small bending . The Gfk solid rods are heavier compared to the Cfk solid rods.
